影片讲述的是一个赎罪者的故事。主角ben因为过失造成的车祸夺取了包括自己妻子在内的7条生命。ben为了赎罪，帮助了7个人，甚至拿出了自己的性命。
其实这部片子，一开始真是闷涩难懂。
不过，will smith的演技真的，真的，很赞。他的表情，眼神，内心活动，情绪，都把一个愧疚无比的可怜人表现的淋漓尽致。
特别是影片末尾，非常触动。
找了很久才找到影片的主题曲之一。
